Ben is such an amazing photographer. After knowing Ben for quite a few years, there is no one else I trusted to take our photos for our beautiful day. He was able to work with our weird personalities and awkwardness with photos, and take really natural photos capturing everyone’s true emotions on the day. We got our sneak peak photos back straight away, and the turnaround on the full album was a week! We booked Ben for our wedding photo and videography and received a complimentary 30-minute engagement shoot. He suggested great outdoor locations, and we chose Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens. When rain was forecasted, Ben happily rescheduled—though it rained again! Despite that, he made the best of it, turning it into a stunning rainy photoshoot. Ben is an incredible professional. As non-models, my fiancé and I were awkward with our facial expressions, but Ben guided us with fun techniques that brought out natural smiles. The session naturally went beyond 30 minutes because we were all enjoying it, and Ben never rushed to wrap things up. The results were absolutely surreal. My friends couldn’t believe they were real engagement photos! Ben went above and beyond to help us feel like our own models. He was brilliant with everyone and very understanding with the kids, dogs and unexpected circumstances, he went with the flow of it all. Capturing everyone on the day was important to us and Ben did this very well. He took care to ensure our furbaby was encorporated in the photos (one of these photos even made it onto a wedding magazine). He was also brilliant with my niece/flower girl and ensured she felt special through the day and even let her take some photos. His photos are beautiful and natural. I told him i am not good with poses so most of our photos where taken just in the moment and he captured it brilliantly. He also came in drenching rain to ensure we got photos taken at a location very close to our hearts. Ben also ensured that we received the photographs and could download them. I had issues with my network but Ben took the time to create a different way for me to obtain the photos. It has been a real pleasure.
